Comings, Goings and Congratulations

Thank you Diego!
After about five years volunteering as Jazz central studios archivist our good friend Diego Ramallo is now moving on.

Since late 2011, Diego has dedicated time and talents to truncating, storing and mailing via Dropbox. These recordings are created for the benefit of the musicians’ who perform at Jazz Central Studios. Having the opportunity to listen back is essential to a musicians’ development both as a player and as a part of a combo or big band. Thanks Diego!

Welcome Dave!
At this time we would like to welcome Dave Kunath as our new volunteer archivist. Over the years Dave has been an avid patron of JCS and has proven his ability to create great live recordings. On top of that he’s super nice and approachable.

Congrats Anthony!
Also, JCS’ own Anthony Cox has been selected as Metropolitan State University’s Alumnus of the Year 2016. Anthony has been serving on the JCS board of directors for the past two years as well as musical director for our New Boundaries Wednesday’s for the past 3-1/2 .
