The sound of Jon’s ensemble is influenced by several groups/artists including Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, and local musicians Pete Endbloom and Chris Lonheim.
The night’s performance will include three original works by Jon as well as works composed orinfluenced by or in the style of Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Oscar Aleman and Sidney Bichet, George Benson, Ray Barretto.
