Luis Santiago 1When the space that we occupy at 407 Central Ave SE first came onto Mac Santiago and Tanner Taylor’s radar back in July 2010, Luis took one look and without hesitation committed to fund one third of the rent. He was a regular participant driving the rhythm section in the original Monday Featured Artist/jam session our longest running event. We have decided that JCS will host a memorial celebration of his life the afternoon of February 9th 2014 at 2pm. There will be rhythm and lots of it!

The family request that in lieu of flowers that donation be made to Jazz Central Studios where his true passion survives. They can be sent in his name to PO Box 17310 Minneapolis, MN 55417, JazzCentralStudios.org/donation, or hand delivered at the memorial. Luis will be missed but not forgotten.
