Chris Bates: BCE+

Bassist, Chris Bates, performs an evening of music. Scary things happen on Friday the 13th. Horrible, terrible, inconceivable things. Like a new jazz trio making its live debut!

From Chris:

I have been fortunate to play with pianist Mr. Nichols in many situations for many years; and there are few I trust more to bring a fresh perspective to every moment than Bryan.

I have been fortunate to have recently met a new creative force on the drums. Emma Garau recently relocated from the Asheville scene to our humble hamlet and we couldn’t be happier.

Tonight we will explore using familiar and fantastical devices. I know we are all excited to make music together. Come and join us in finding out where the BCE trio will go.
